Comedy Central has picked up "Stella," ordering 10 episodes of the scripted laffer. "Stella," a single-cam comedy from the "Wet Hot American Summer" team of Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter and David Wain, revolves around three unemployed guys thrown into absurd situations. Trio will write, star and exec produce the series, which is based on the group's stage show. Pilot was shot last year (Daily Variety, Nov. 17) as one of several on a talent-heavy development slate. "Stella" is slated for a summer premiere.

Here's a couple things:

First, Slint has found their bass player. It's Todd Cook (AKA T-O-Double-Dizzle), former member of Crain, The Four Car Nation, Tara Jane O'Neil, Etc. Current member of Shipping News.

Second, I don't think it's announced, but the first Slint show of "the return" will be in Louisville on February 21st. No venue or opening bands have been announced, as of yet.
